The new iteration of Switchblade is upon us. I completely redesigned it in preperation for nationals to give it a winning chance. The vertical disk design which proved it could do its share of damage was getting a bit weary, so it was dropped and made into a similar version with a wedge in the back and a eggbeater type weapon. The weapon is spun by a very high speed hacker clone brushless at a 2:1 ratio to the 1.75" beater. The final beater speed is around 20,000rpms at a full battery charge. The 11.1V lipo polyquest pack powers the bot and keeps it going for about 3 or 4 matches.

- .25" thick delrin rails scroll sawed then pocketed for weight

- Maxon 17:1 gearmotors to 2.25" wheels

- Hacker clone 22T brushless motor

- 3.75" x 1.75" x 0.45" titanium waterjetted egg beater

- .25" titanium weapon shaft with bronze bearings

- Sozbots dual ESC for drive

- Pheonix 25 brushless ESC for weapon

- .022" thick blue and silver weave Carbon Fiber for armor.
